In line with its mission to increase basic sectors’ capability to address poverty, environmental degradation, and the internal refugee situation, the organization provides relief aid, technical and financial assistance to rehabilitation projects, and activities for raising awareness regarding disaster-related problems.
The organization is committed to indigenous peoples’ efforts toward self-determination though programs and services that enhance indigenous people’s knowledge and capabilities and contribute to their socio-economic, political, and cultural improvement.
Conscious of the interfaith dimension of social development work, the organization responds to the needs of non-government nationalist development organizations and people’s organizations in Mindanao in order to forge solidarity among and realize the liberating aspirations of Mindanao’s tri-people poor: Moro, Lumad and majority Filipino grassroots sectors.
