program, the Alternative Indigenous Development Foundation Inc.
(AIDFI) placed second in the Education and Welfare category of the
2007's Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy, a prestigious
international competition honoring excellent sustainable energy
solutions in the developing world and the United Kingdom.
